Dear Public Works;
This letter is on behalf of the residents in the Dos Rios Subdivision. We all want
to express our gratitude to Scott for all of his efforts in getting 54th Street Road into
better shape. We also want to thank you for the speedy response to the long ongoing
problem that we have all suffered with for years. Many of the residents of Dos Rios have
called several different places, Public Works,Road and Bridge, even the Commissioners
office to try to get some relief. Scott has been the only one to get the job started. Scott
cared enough to come out himself to inspect the road and to meet with us on September
7, 1995, within a few minutes after our meeting Scott had the grader out on the job,
within the next several days he had trucks bringing out the badly needed gravel and base.
Now the road is so much better, we know that it is not finished and the interior road
issues have not been solved, but we just had to express how appreciated his efforts have
been. Hopefully in the future the upkeep and proper care will continue on a consistent
and regular basis. Should there be any other problems, when we take the time to look up
the number and call in to let someone know the condition of the road is bad, we would
appreciate not being given excuses or unwarranted remarks, this only makes the situation
more frustrating. Again thanks for your efforts.
