RE: APPROVE COUNTY AUTHORIZATION FORM FOR NEGOTIATIONS AND
HEARINGS ON THE MODEL MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a County Authorization Form for
Negotiations and Hearings on the Model Memorandum of Understanding between the County
of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, and Kathryn Schroeder, Arapahoe County Attorney, with terms and conditions being as
stated in said form, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said form, a copy of
which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the County Authorization Form for Negotiations and Hearings on
the Model Memorandum of Understanding between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by
and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and Kathryn Schroeder,
Arapahoe County Attorney, be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said form.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 28th day of January, A.D., 1998.

COUNTY AUTHORIZATION FORM
FOR NEGOTIATIONS AND HEARINGS
ON THE MODEL MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING(MOU)
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County hereby grant
Kathryn Schroeder, Arapahoe County Attorney, the authority to act as spokesperson on
behalf of We t d County in negotiations concerning the model county MOU
with the state Department of Human Services, and in hearings before the State Board of
Human Services concerning the matter held pursuant to §26-2-715(3), Colorado Revised
Statutes.
