Weld County Commissioners,
Due to a previous commitment we will not be able to attend the hearing on January
14, 1998, concerning Special Review Permit #1173 for a Private Airstrip. The
applicants are Wood and Barbara Epplesheimer and the Docket No. is 98-03.
Our concerns are the close proximity to our own private airstrip across County
Road 16. We feel our strip is moderately busy for a private strip especially during
the spring, summer and fall months, and the proximity of the proposed strip could
at times pose a safety concern.
For these reasons we ask you to please vote NO on Special Review Permit#1173.
