Box 758 • Greeley, CO 80632-0758 Clerk: Attached are Annexation Impact Reports prepared by the City of Dacono for two proposed annexations to the City. These annexations are known as the Sharpe First Annexation and the Sharpe Second Annexation. The Sharpe Annexations were previously sent for your review; however, a problem with the legal descriptions and contiguity caused the previous annexation requests to be withdrawn by the applicant before any public hearings were held. They have subsequently been resubmitted with new petitions when the problem was resolved. The overall perimeter boundary of these annexations has not changed. Both of these annexations exceed 10 acres in size and state statutes require that an Annexation Impact Report be provided to the Board of County Commissions at least 20 days prior to consideration of the annexation by the Dacono City Council. The Council will consider the annexations on September 28, 1998. The area to be annexed includes 22.42 acres of land currently zoned A-Agricultural. In conjunction with the proposed annexation, the zoning is proposed to change from Weld County A-Agricultural Zoning to City of Dacono C- Commercial Zoning. II. Municipal Services Municipal services for the Sharpe First Annexation will be provided in the following manner: Electricity: United Power Natural Gas: K-N Energy Telephone: U. S. West Water: Central Weld County Water District Sewer: St. Vrain Sanitation District Fire: Mountain View Fire District Police: Dacono Police Department Financing the municipal services within the area to be annexed is addressed in an annexation agreement between the applicant and the City of Dacono. III. Special Districts The area to be annexed is included within the following special districts: Central Weld County Water District Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District St. Vrain Valley School District RE-1J Tri-Area Ambulance District Carbon Valley Recreation District Mountain View Fire Protection District IV. School District Impact There is no anticipated impact on the school district since the proposed annexation and zoning would not include any residential development. 1 V.
