Re: Request for Board Resolution
Amended USR 1047
Denver Television, Inc. KDVR
Bruce:
This will serve as a request, per our discussion, that the Board of County Commissioners
pass a resolution to the effect that recordation of the required plat for Amended USR
1047 on March 10, 1995, in Book 1482 under Rec. No. 2429548, satisfied all conditions
in connection with the approval of this Amended Use by Special Review and that it is
now in full force and effect as originally approved by a resolution of the Board on
February 8, 1995.
As I mentioned, the 15-day period in which to deliver the plat to the Weld County
Department of Planning Services proved to be too short, since small delays occurred at
each step...typing of the resolution, mailing and delivery, and preparation of the plat by
the draftsman, who in addition to producing a final plat, also had included the revised
Development Standards on the plat.
Since the original resolution was very specific as to dates, attorneys for KDVR and its
clients have asked for a resolution removing any possible doubt as to validity of the USR.
I will be at Monday's Board meeting to answer any questions.
Thank you for your help.
Cordially,
William G. Crews
Agent for Denver Television, Inc. KDVR
