RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF PAT PERSICHINO AS DIRECTOR OF PLANNING
SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, due to the resignation of Chuck Cunliffe, Director of Planning Services, a
vacancy currently exists in the Director of Planning Services' position, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Pat Persichino as Director of Planning
Services, in addition to his position of Director of General Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Pat Persichino be, and hereby is, appointed Director of Planning Services,
in addition to his position of Director of General Services.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 5th day of April, A.D., 1995.

Press Release
The Weld County Board of Commissioners today appointed Pat Persichino to the position of
Director of Planning Services. Persichino has held the position of Interim Director since
February 15, 1995. Persichino will maintain his duties as Director of General Services in
addition to the Planning Position. With the salary savings generated by this move, the Planning
Services Department has added a Planner Position, two Building Inspector Positions, and has
provided upgrades to existing planners. The Board feels that the added positions will benefit
services to our customers, the citizens of Weld County.
