NOTICE OF RENEWAL.

Gentlemen:
You are advised that, under the terms of an option conferred
upon me by a sealed instrument dated March 13, 1914 the con-
ditions and provisions of which provide for this notice and the
leasing by you to the United States of America of the Northwest
quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section Thirty-three, Township
six North, Range Sixty-five West, of the Sixth F. X, in Teld
County, Colorado, and for the irrigation thereof, all of the
lessor's right in and to Four shares of the capital stook of the
New Cache la Poudre Irrigating Company, and Two shares of the capital
stook of the Cache la Poudre Reservoir Company, together with the
buildings located thereon, from January 1, 1915, to and including
June 30, 1915, at and for the consideration therein expressed,
subject to renewal thereafter, and which said instrument has been
duly renewed for two annual periods,
I hereby extend all the conditions and provisions of the said in-
strument to cover the period beginning July 1, 1917,
and ending Jugs 30, 1918 , inclusive. The considerations, acts,
promises, agreements, and provisions to be executed and performed by
each party to the said instrument, as originally provided therein,
shall remain in full force and effect for the said extended period.
Payment hereunder shall be made from the appropriation by
Congress for "General Expenses, Bureau of Plant Industry," 1918
(Horticultural Investigations ).
