NOTICE OF HEARING ON PETITION FOR DISSOLUTION
IN THE MATTER OF MILLIKEN SANITATION DISTRICT
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that on July ' 5 , 1997, there was filed in the Weld County
District Court a Petition for Dissolution of the Milliken Sanitation District, which Petition prays for
the dissolution of a Title 32 special district pursuant to the statutory provisions set forth in Sec. 32-
1-701,et seq., C.R.S.
Notice is further given that the Petition states that: all of the Milliken Sanitation District's
unconditional liabilities and financial obligations will be paid prior to dissolution, that the
outstanding bonded indebtedness will continue to be paid on an annual basis through the annual
levy of a tax sufficient to pay the annual debt service; that the Town of Milliken will, effective on
January 1, 1998, the effective date of the proposed order of dissolution, assume all of the functions
and services of the District, and that the Town will continue to provide sanitary sewer service to the
current users of the District's services; and that all of the District's assets, including all funds and
personal and real property, will be transferred to the Town upon dissolution; all as is more fully set
forth in the District's Plan of Dissolution which is on file with the Court and available for inspection
by the public. A copy of the Petition and Plan of Dissolution is also on file with the Milliken Town
Clerk,Town of Milliken, Colorado.
A hearing on the sufficiency of the Petition and the adequacy of the Plan of Dissolution will be held

Any interested person may appear at such time and place and be heard.
