Dear Chairman Hall ;
After reviewing the FCC 1205 and 1240 forms which deal with calculation of
basic rates, and installation charges as well as equipment charges, it is evident
that we missed a rate increase in equipment for 1996. For your information, all
TCI systems will be raising equipment rates by $.40 for standard converters and
$.60 for addressable converters.
We will place a billing message on the February statements of customers that
use equipment informing them of the changes in their equipment rates
beginning March 1996. In March, the statements will include a coupon valued
at $3.99 for customers to use toward a pay-per-view movie during the next six
months.
The rates will change as follows:
