RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO FAIR BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute arid the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Fair Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Tom Bledsoe, John Stahley, Gordon Ledall,
Barbara Carter, and Phil Rouse be appointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Margaret Carlson and Thomas Holton be
reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Tom Bledsoe and John Stahley to
said board, with their terms to expire October 31, 2001; and appoint Gordon Ledall, Barbara
Carter, and Phil Rouse to said board, with their terms to expire October 31, 2002, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Margaret Carlson and Thomas
Holton to said board, with their terms to expire October 31, 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Tom Bledsoe and John Stahley be, and hereby are, appointed to
the Fair Board, with their terms to expire October 31, 2001.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Gordon Ledall, Barbara Carter, and Phil Rouse be, and hereby are, appointed to
the Fair Board, with their terms to expire October 31, 2002.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Margaret Carlson and Thomas Holton be, and hereby are, reappointed to the
Fair Board, with their terms to expire October 31, 2002.
