RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS OF TO FAMILIES, YOUTH, AND CHILDREN
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Families, Youth, and Children Commission,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Tracy Baldo, Jennifer Higgins, and Carl
Miller be appointed as new members to said board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Jennifer Higgins to said board, with
her term to expire December 31, 1999, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Tracy Baldo and Carl Miller to said
board, with their terms to expire December 31, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Jennifer Higgins be, and hereby is, appointed to the Families, Youth, and
Children Commission, with her term to expire December 31, 1999.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Tracy Baldo and Carl Miller be, and hereby are, appointed to the Families, Youth,
and Children Commission, with their terms to expire December 31, 2001.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 21st day of December, A.D., 1998.
