RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING PETITION FOR ABATEMENT OR REFUND OF
TAXES - HEWLETT PACKARD COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Petition for Abatement or Refund of
Taxes from Hewlett Packard Company, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 17th day of March, 1999, at
which time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to allow the Assessor's Office
adequate time to review the reported personal property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to May 3,
1999, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 17th day of March, A.D., 1999.

RESOLUTION OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
Section 1: In accordance with 39-1-113(1.5)C.R.S., the commissioners of County
authorize the assessor to review petitions for abatement or refund and to settle by written mutual agreement any such
petition for abatement or refund in an amount of one thousand dollars or less per tract, parcel, or lot of land or per
schedule of personal property.
