RESOLUTION
RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR THE WELD COUNTY TREASURER TO CANCEL CERTAIN
COUNTY TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Arthur L. Willis, II, Weld County Treasurer, has requested authorization to
cancel certain County Tax Lien Sale Certificates, a list of the specific certificates being attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to cancel said
certificates as requested by the Weld County Treasurer, pursuant to CRS 39-10-114.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Arthur L. Willis, II, Weld County Treasurer, be, and hereby is,
authorized to cancel said County Tax Lien Sale Certificates.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 26th day of November, A.D., 1997.

I am hereby asking for TS CERT 727/92 to be canceled because of a second tax lien sale
certificate of purchase was sold on November 4, 1993 to the City of Greeley. The City of
Greeley assigned TS CERT 612/93 to Pete & Tina Longoria on June 13, 1997. Pete & Tina
Longoria made application for a Treasurer's Deed to the property and at that time GEORGE J.
PRISNER I was notified and given the opportunity to endorse all subsequent taxes onto his
certificate and make application for a Treasurer's Deed himself. GEORGE J. PRISNER I chose
not to take any action. The Treasurer's Deed was issued November 5, 1997 to Pete & Tina
Longoria. This created the need of a resolution by the Board of County Commissioners to cancel
TS CERT 727/92.

made application for a Treasurer's Deed to the property and at that time ROBERT SCHUBERTH
was notified and given the opportunity to endorse all subsequent taxes onto his certificate and
make application for a Treasurer's Deed himself ROBERT SCHUBERTH chose not to take any
action. The Treasurer's Deed was issued March 31, 1997 to City of Greeley. This created the
need of a resolution by the Board of County Commissioners to cancel TS CERT 389/86.
