RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING A SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND
PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) FINAL PLAN FOR AN AIRPARK WITH 39
HANGER LOTS AND ONE RESIDENTIAL LOT WHICH INCLUDES THE AIRSTRIPS
AND CONTROL TOWER - PLATTE VALLEY AIRPARK, C/O MARILYN TAYLOR
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the 8th day of January, 1997, at 10:00 a.m.
for the purpose of hearing the application of Platte Valley Airpark, do Marilyn Taylor, 7505 Weld
County Road 39, Fort Lupton, Colorado 80621, for a Site Specific Development Plan and
Planned Unit Development (PUD) Final Plan for an airpark with 39 hanger lots and one
residential lot which includes the airstrips and control tower for a parcel of land located on the
following described real estate, to-wit:
A parcel located in Sections 30 and 31, Township 2
North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M., Weld
County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the applicant was not present or represented at said hearing, and the
Department of Planning Services staff requested the Board continue said hearing to
February 12, 1997, to satisfy the requirements for publication and sign posting, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all the testimony and
statements of those present, studied the recommendation of the Weld County Department of
Planning Services staff and, having been fully informed, finds that this request shall be
continued to February 12, 1997, at 10:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the application of Platte Valley Airpark, do Marilyn Taylor for a
Site Specific Development Plan and Planned Unit Development (PUD) Final Plan for an airpark
with 39 hanger lots and one residential lot which includes the airstrips and control tower on the
above referenced parcel of land be, and hereby is, continued to February 12, 1997, at
10:00 a.m.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 8th day of January, A.D., 1997.
