Dear Commissioners,
I am writing this letter on behalf of those school districts in Weld County that acquired Board of
Education approval of the attached resolutions relative to Land Dedication/Cash In Lieu by
residential developers. We either have been or are beginning to experience growth in the
education arena caused by the residential growth within the county.
The attached resolutions indicate the support of eight Weld County school districts in the Land
Dedication/Cash in Lieu concept proposed by the St. Vrain School District Re-1J, headquartered
in Longmont. Please find attached resolutions from the following school districts:
Weld Re-1/Gilcrest Weld 6/Greeley-Evans
Weld Re-2/Eaton Weld Re-7/Kersey
