A public hearing was conducted on September 22, 1999, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Dale K. Hall, Chair
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Pro-Tem
Commissioner George E. Baxter
Commissioner M. J. Geile
Commissioner Glenn Vaad
Also present:

Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
Planning Department representative, Sheri Lockman
Health Department representative, Sheble McConnellogue

The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated September 8, 1999, and duly published September
11, 1999, in the Fort Lupton Press, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of John
and James Sutter for a Site Specific Development Plan and Final Plan, S #496, for five (5) E
(Estate) zoned lots and one (1) agriculturally zoned outlot. Lee Morrison, Assistant County
Attorney, made this a matter of record. Sheri Lockman, Department of Planning Services, stated
the applicant is requesting indefinite continuance to all them time to address inadequate water
supply. Ms. Lockman stated the applicants have been pursuing both public water with North Weld
County Water District and wells through the Division of Water Resources. She stated both are very
close to being finalized.
James Sutter, applicant, stated after talking to Ms. Lockman, they are asking for the continuance
to allow them to gather the proper documentation. He stated they have a spoken agreement with
North Weld County Water District, but nothing in writing. Commissioner Kirkmeyer stated she
wants to be certain the situation can be solved by the time of the continuance, to try to minimize
frustration with citizens wishing to speak at the hearing. Commissioner Kirkmeyer moved to
continue this matter to December 8, 1999, at 10:00 a.m. Commissioner Baxter seconded the
motion, which carried unanimously.
