RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER GEORGE BAXTER TO PLACEMENT
ALTERNATIVES COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner George Baxter be appointed to
said Placement Alternatives Commission, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner George Baxter to said
commission, with his term to expire December 31, 1995.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Commissioner George Baxter be, and hereby is, appointed to the
Placement Alternatives Commission, with his term to expire December 31, 1995.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 9th day of January, A.D., 1995.
