Currently, "yield ahead" and "yield" signs are being used as the traffic control devices at E. 16th Street to the approach of Fern Avenue. A study has been completed on the intersection, which indicated that from 1992 to 1994 there have been seven accidents. It is my recommendation that the existing signing be replaced with "stop ahead" and "stop" signs. This suggestion is made to insure the safety of the traveling public. All signing will conform to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
