Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Shani Eastin, Department of Planning Services representative, presented a brief summary of the proposal and entered the favorable recommendation of the Planning Commission into the record as written. Ms. Eastin stated the original Meadow Brooks Farm Subdivision was approved in 1995 as a six-lot minor subdivision. Ms. Eastin explained the applicant must first amend the recorded subdivision which will be staff approved. Secondly, the amended portion needs to be rezoned from A (Agricultural) to E (Estate), and third, the Resubdivision needs to be replatted to show Lot 6 with the additional acres. Responding to Commissioner Harbert, Ms. Eastin explained these actions do not add a lot to the subdivision, but to extend Lot 6. Kris Pickett, representative for the applicant, stated the land being amended into the subdivision cannot be used for anything else because it is not good farmland. In response to Commissioner Harbert and Chair Baxter, Mr. Pickett stated the 20-foot easement is a utility easement which has no utilities in it and does not serve as an access to the property, and stated the applicant agrees with the Conditions of Approval and Development Standards. No public testimony was offered concerning this matter. 972634 PL0971 i HEARING CERTIFICATION -TRI-CITY VENTURES (COZ#507 AND S #433) PAGE 2 In response to Chair Baxter, Mr. Morrison stated this case requires two separate motions.
