This letter is in response to a Weld County Referral for a Special Use Permit for a home
business, submitted by Laurel Johnson, case number USR-1146.
This proposal was reviewed by both staff and the Greeley Planning Commission. At the
Planning Commission meeting held on April 8,the Commission agreed with the Planning staff to
give this proposal "no objection." The intent behind this"no objection" is that, even though this
property lies within the referral area,this particular site would effect Windsor far more than
Greeley. Because of the possibility of only insignificant impacts that might influence Greeley,
the Planning Commission decided to state "no objection"to this proposal instead of a vote of
support or opposition.
We thank the County for the chance to voice our opinion on land use issues within the Greeley
growth area.
