SEE NOTE BELOW
1. Remove obstacles from in front of exit doors on south side of
library.
2. Install exit signs above all exit doors in both front library and new
back room.
3. Remove thumb bolt locks from front exit doors and replace them with
lock that cannot be inadvertently locked as with panic hardware.
4. Replace locks on all other dorrs with panic hardware.
5. Repair all broken -out openings in walls and ceiling in boiler room.
6. Have boiler inspected by insurance carrier and post such certi-
cation.
7. Repair eled•rical circuit to compressor in boiler room.
8. Remove all storage from boiler room.
9. Install closer on boiler room door.
10. Install fire damper in original return air duct to furnace rorm.
11. The installation or use of an incinerator in a garage is not permitted
unless completely enclosed in a two hour fire resistive rated en-
closure extending 3 ft. above the roof line and having all openings
in the enclosure closed with class "At doors. ('Enclosure must be
masonry) The existing incinerator is declared a hazard and shall
not be used until it is made to conform to minimum safety standards.
12. Install a one -hour fire resistive rated ceiling in the garage or con-
tinue the $" masonry wall to the underside of the roof between the
ceiling joists.
13. Install handrails on the stairway in the garage.
