RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Workforce Development Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that William Garcia be appointed to said board
as the small business representative to replace Ron Kauffman; Fernando Rodriquez be
appointed as a labor union representative to replace Charles McDonald; and Renee Williams be
appointed as an at-large business representative to replace Roberta Miller, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint William Garcia, Fernando
Rodriquez, and Renee Williams to said board, with their terms to expire December 3'1, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that William Garcia, Fernando Rodriquez, and Renee Williams be, and
hereby are appointed, to the Workforce Development Board, with their terms to expire
December 31, 2001.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 12th day of May, A.D., 1999.
