#1057 FOR A FEEDLOT(4,000 HEAD OF CATTLE) IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL)ZONE
DISTRICT - ROBERT WARDLAW, LOVING TRUST
A public hearing was conducted on April 24, 1996, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Chair
Commissioner George E. Baxter, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Dale K. Hall
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert
Commissioner W. H. Webster
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller
Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
Planning Department representative, Chris Goranson
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated April 3, 1996, and duly published April 11, 1996, in
the North Weld Herald, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Robert Wardlaw,
Loving Trust, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Amended Special Review Permit#1057 for
a feedlot(4,000 head of cattle) in the A(Agricultural)Zone District. Lee Morrison, Assistant County
Attorney, made this a matter of record. Chris Goranson, Planning Department representative,
presented a brief summary of the proposal and entered the favorable recommendation of the
Planning Commission into the record as written. He noted the Development Standards are
basically identical to the original Permit. Tom Collins represented the applicant and stated he is
available to answer questions from the Board. No public testimony was offered concerning this
matter. Commissioner Hall moved to approve the request of Robert Wardlaw, Loving Trust, for a
Site Specific Development Plan and Amended Special Review Permit#1057 for a feedlot (4,000
head of cattle) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, based on the recommendations of the Planning
staff and the Planning Commission, with the Conditions of Approval and Development Standards
as entered into the record. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Webster, and it carried
unanimously.
