RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO WELD COUNTY AREA AGENCY ON AGING
ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Weld County Area Agency on Aging
Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Gale Heiman and Marilyn Peterson be
appointed to said board, to replace Dr. Richard Foe and Grace LeBlanc, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Gale Heiman and Marilyn Peterson
to said board, with their terms to expire January 31, 1999, and January 31, 2000, respectively.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Gale Heiman and Marilyn Peterson be, and hereby are, appointed
to the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board, with their terms to expire January 31, 1999, and
January 31, 2000, respectively.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 12th day of May, A.D., 1997.
