On behalf of the public lands counties within CCI I am pleased to provide you with the first
edition of our "Public Lands Profile".
The production of this document truly represents a collaborative effort on the part of staff and
individual counties. The document is a compilation of information and statistic on tax-exempt
federal and state lands. It is our hope that you will find this to be a useful and valuable tool.
The CCI Public Lands Committee, chaired by Jackson County Commissioner Dennis Brinker,
and Montrose County Commissioner Cindy Bowen, Vice-Chair has requested that each member
public lands county of CCI,receive one copy of this publication.
Additional copies will be provided at the cost of$15.00 to defray printing costs. If you would
