HomeMy WebLinkAbout981013.tiff RESOLUTION RE: DECLARE CERTAIN LAND AS SURPLUS PROPERTY, ACCEPT OFFER FROM ELLIS WRIGHT TO PURCHASE PROPERTY WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Administrative Manual require that all items disposed of be declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and WHEREAS, the County has determined that certain property, described as Parcel Number 053933116001, a vacant lot located at 2622 Lot 12 Block 16 Second Addition, Buckingham, is no longer required for County use, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an offer from Ellis Lynn Wright, 18780 Weld County Road 84, Ault, Colorado 80610 to purchase said vacant land, and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to declare said property as surplus and accept the offer from Ellis Lynn Wright for the sum of TWO-HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($225.00). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned land be, and hereby is, declared surplus. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the offer from Ellis Lynn Wright to purchase said property in the amount of$225.00, be, and hereby is, accepted.
