ERIE AREA LANDFILLS TO BE DISCUSSED
Supervisor Environmental Protection Services, Trevor Jiricek, of the Weld
County Health Department will make a brief presentation at the Weld County Council
meeting, April 21, 1998, 7:30 p.m., at the Erie Lions Club Hall, 480 Cheesman St., Erie,
CO.. Mr. Jiricek will speak about landfills in the Erie area including monitoring of the
runoff wells and the life expectancy of landfills. There will be time for questions from
the public.
The public is invited to attend the Council meeting and provide ideas on issues
concerning County government. Please call the Council office at 356-4000 x 4780 if
more information is needed.
At 6:00 p.m. before the Council meeting, the Council will be meeting for dinner at
Karen's in the Country, 1900 Plaza Drive, Louisville, CO..
