Dear Commissioner Harbert,
The purpose of this letter is to tender my resignation from the Weld County Planning
Commission to which the Board of Commissioners appointed me over two years ago.
Please consider my resignation effective immediately. I have thoroughly enjoyed serving
the Commission and the citizens of the county in this in this appointment. The reason for
my resignation is my impending election to the Weld County Commission from
Commissioner District 2 and the relate conflict of interest inherent in serving both
positions. I sincerely appreciate the confidence the Commission has placed in me in this
appointment and their support for the Planning Commission's efforts.
I would like to take this opportunity compliment both the Planning Department's staff
and my colleagues on the Planning Commission for their dedicated sensitive service to
the people of Weld County.
Thank you for allowing me to serve you and my neighbors.
