HomeMy WebLinkAbout952304.tiff RESOLUTION RE: SUMMARIZING�XPENDITURES AND REVENUES FOR EACH FUND AND ADOPTING-A BUDGET-FOR THE COUNTY OF WELD, COLORADO, FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR BEGINNINGDNTHE FIRSTDAY OF JANUARY, 1-996, AND-ENDING ON THEL4ST DAY OF DECEMBER, 1996 WHEREAS, the-Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering theaffairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the-Board of County Commissioners of the County of Weld has-appointed the Directorof Finance and Administration to prepareand submit a proposed budget to said governing body at the proper time, and WHEREAS,the Director of Finance and Administration has submitteda propose-dibudget to this governing body for its consideration,and WHEREAS, upon dueand proper notice, published or posted in accordance with the law, said proposed budget was open for inspectioniby the public at a designated-place, a public hearing was-held -0n December 6, 1995,and interested taxpayers were given the opportunity to file or register any objections to said proposed budget, and WHEREAS, the Board, in its'deliberations on the 1-996 budget, has amended the proposed budget as reflected on the attached exhibits. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEDby the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the 1996 budget assubmitted,-amended, and summarized by fund in Exhibit "A", be, and hereby, is approved and adopted as the'budget of the County of Weld for the year statedabove. BE IT-FURTHER-RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners that the Director of Finance and Administration is hereby directed to prepareand publish a final budget based upon the proposed budget submitted, as amended by the Board of County Commissioners during the budget hearing process. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Director of Finance and-Administration is hereby directed to prepare a formal appropriation ordinance for approval by the Board of County Commissioners that reflects the appropriations and revenues included in the finaladopted budget. 952304 FI0021 CC : F RE: FINAL BUDGET- 1996 Page 2 The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 6th day of December, A.D., 1995.
