Under the USR requirement 25.7 General Requirements, Weld County Public Works Department
is requiring a 24"x36" drawing of the facility including the topography to be able to determine
drainage patterns if detention ponds are required along with access points and adequate radiuses in
place. In addition, a typical cross-section or statement on the gravel parking lot identifying the
depth and type of material is required.
Is the access point new or existing? Is there additional accesses to the property from existing houses
or field access points. All these items need to be identified on the drawing.
On item No. 15 in the questionnaire, the applicant indicated that 49 vehicles could use this site. The
applicant also indicated off-street parking to handle 24 vehicles. The applicant needs to identify an
overflow parking area to possibly accommodate additional vehicles if needed. Keep in mind that
our access policy states "one access per legal parcel." Is the additional overflow parking to handle
workers for the facility across WCR 44 to the South?
