RE: APPROVE PURCHASE OF USED 2-WAY DISC FOR DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
WORKS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has presented a request to purchase an
8-foot, 2-way disc, Serial Number 0021, from the Goodell Machinery and Construction
Company, 601 East Collins Street, Eaton, Colorado 80615, for the amount of $700, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Purchasing Policies and Procedures allows for the
acquisition of used equipment which, by its nature, is not biddable as a practical matter, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to approve the
purchase of the above described used equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Department of Public Works be, and hereby is, authorized to
purchase the 8-foot, 2-way disc, Serial Number 0021, from the Goodell Machinery and
Construction Company, 601 East Collins Street, Eaton, Colorado 80615, for the amount of
$700.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 18th day of February, A.D., 1998.
