RE: GRANT REQUEST FROM PRIMA OIL AND GAS COMPANY FOR
PREADVERTISEMENT OF SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#1089
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to,
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Board has received a request from William G. Crews, CPL,Agent for Prima
Oil and Gas Company, 1223 28th Avenue, Suite 2, Greeley, Colorado 80631, for preadvertisement
of an application for Special Review Permit#1089 to allow drilling of two oil and gas wells, and
WHEREAS, said property is described as W%, NW'/ of Section 4, Township 5 North,
Range 65 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, after study and review the Board deems it advisable to grant said request, with
the hearing date to be set as Wednesday, August 9, 1995, at 10:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the request from Prima Oil and Gas Company for preadvertisement of an
application for Special Review Permit#1089 to allow drilling of two oil and gas wells be, and hereby
is, granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the hearing date to consider said request
be, and hereby is, set as August 9, 1995, at 10:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 17th day of July, A.D., 1995.

Re: Request for Pre-Advertising
USR-I089
Prima Oil & Gas Company
Dear Commissioners:
Prima Oil & Gas Company has an application for a Use by Special Review (USR-1089) scheduled for
hearing by the Weld County Planning Commission on August 1. The application is for a USR to
allow the drilling of two oil and gas wells.
Since the leases currently have expiration dates in September, we are asking for pre-advertising in
order that this matter may be scheduled for hearing by the Board of County Commissioners at your
meeting on August 9.
Normal mylar processing and recording time, together with Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation
Commission, rig scheduling, and Federal Aviation Administration delays, will create a hardship on
Prima which will be greatly alleviated by expediting the USR hearing by means of pre-advertising.
This letter will also confirm the Prima's responsibility to pay for pre-advertising fees and charges,
regardless of the eventual date of hearing or outcome.
