HomeMy WebLinkAbout961736.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE REVISIONS TO TWO NOTIFICATIONS OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AWARDS FOR PAC FUNDS WITH HUMAN SERVICES AND CATHOLIC CHARITIES AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with revisions to two Notifications of Financial Assistance Awards for PAC (Placement Alternatives Commission) Funds between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Social Services, and the Weld County Division of Human Services and Catholic Charities, Inc., commencing January 1, 1996, and ending September 30, 1996, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said revisions, and WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said revisions, copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, ex-officio Board of Social Services, that the revisions to two Notifications of Financial Assistance Awards for PAC (Placement Alternatives Commission) Funds between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Social Services, and the Weld County Division of Human Services and Catholic Charities, Inc., be, and hereby are, approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to sign said revisions. Enclosed for Board approval are revisions to Notifications of Financial Assistance Awards (NOFAA) under the Weld County Family Support Program. These revisions are for the current grant year of January 1, 1996 through September 30, 1996, and do not change the original grant awards to the Weld County Division of Human Services and to Catholic Charities, Inc. The Weld County Placement Alternatives Commission recommends your approval of NOFAA revisions for the WCDHS and Catholic Charities, Inc. 1.
