RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING HEARING TO ALLOW CITIZENS TO REVIEW
AND COMMENT ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THE COUNTY OF WELD IN
CARRYING OUT THE WATTENBERG WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT PROJECT -
WATTENBERG, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on December 22, 1997, the Board conducted a hearing to allow citizens to
review and comment on the performance of the County of Weld in carrying out the Wattenberg
Water System, and
WHEREAS, at said hearing the Board was advised by the Director of Finance and
Administration that, although the building which will house the equipment is complete, it will not
be operational until equipment operators have completed training; therefore, the Board deemed
it advisable to continue said matter to allow adequate time for machine operators to complete
training.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the above mentioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to
January 7, 1998, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 22nd day of December, A.D., 1997.
