IN THE MATTER OF RESOLUTION
RE: CONCURRENCE WITH THE CCUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION'S RECOMMENDATION
FOR GRANTING OF PROPOSED LIVESTOCK PENS AND SHELTER BY O'DAY LIVESTOCK
COMPANY:
WHEREAS, The County Commissioners of deld County, Colorado, have been fully
advised by the Veld County Planning Commission in relation to the following.Pet1-
tion of
NOW, BE IT RESOLVED, that the recommendation .of the Weld County Planning
Commission be concurred in and the Petition be granted as follows:
Construction of livestock pens, surrounded by board fence, open area to
be used for hay and straw storage, and pasture and necessary shelter for
livestock to be built inside the fenced area, to be located on the Si -Si -NE*
of :Section 30, Twp 1, R 66, 30 acres, more or less.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote:

The Petition of Colorado Potato Flake and Mfg. Co, by Keith D. Samuelson, for a
Potato Storage, colored metal building, 80 feet by 120 feet by 16 feet with office 18
feet by 36 feet attached to Southwest corner 92 feet from west line and 80 feet from
South line, all above ground, to be located on Section 17 Township 6 Range 65 South-
west corner was presented. Address of Colorado Potato Flake and Mfg. Co, 715 Fourth
Street, Greeley. Signing the Petition were Henry Ernest Meyer, 1625 Fairacres Drive,
Greeley; Arthur A. Leafgren, George D. Adams and Lloyd Orr all of Lucerne, Colorado.
The Planning Commission felt it was a good location after visiting said location
and John Wheeler made a motion that they recommend to the Board of County Commission-
ers the approval of said Petition of Colorado Potato Flake and Mfg. Co. Seconded
by John Watson. Unanimously Approved.
The Commission also felt that the Petition of Frank Prazma for an Auto Junk Yard
was a good location for same and George Mosier made a motion that they recommend to
the Board of County Commissioners the Approval of said Petition of Frank Prazma.
Seconded by John Watson. Carried.
A Petition by the O'Day Livestock Co., by Don O'Day, Box 6941 Stockyards, Denver
16, Colorado, for livestock pens, surrounded by a board fence; open area to be used
for hay and straw storage, and pasture and necessary shelter for livestock to be
built inside the fenced area, was presented. Same is to be located on the S* SZ NE+
of Section 30 Township 1 Range 66, 30 acres more or less, otherwise known as the John
Moore Place. Signing the Petition were: Fred W. Betz, Peter Wolken (Tenant), Larry
G. Mancini, George J. Mancini, Floyd Dienot, G. J. Luttrell and Fred Doughty, all of
I Brighton, Colorado.
Mr. O'Day showed pictures of the location of the proposed pens.
John Wheeler made a motion that the Planning Commission recommend to the Board
of County Commissioners the approval of the Petition of the O'Day Livestock Company.
Seconded by George Mosier. Carried.
There being no further business John Wheeler moved the meeting be adjourned.
Seconded by John Watson. Carried.
