Pursuant to the Weld County Home Rule Charter, Ordinance Number 201 was introduced on first
reading on July 15, 1998, and a public hearing and second reading was held on August 3, 1998.
A public hearing and third reading was completed on August 24, 1998, with changes being made
to the text, as detailed below, and, on motion duly made and seconded, was adopted. Effective
date of said Ordinance is listed below.
Any backup material or information previously submitted to the Board of County Commissioners
concerning this matter may be examined in the office of the Clerk to the Board of County
Commissioners, located in the Weld County Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, Third Floor,

considered to be stricter than those set forth in the agreement, and

Substitute. If a member of the IGA Joint Board of Appeals is not able to attend a meeting
of the Board to review an appeal, the governmental entity shall be authorized to designate
in writing a substitute to attend and take all actions that the member would be authorized
to perform if the member were present. The substitute may bring the writing designating
them as a substitute to the meeting of the Board, and need to file such writing with the
Board before the meeting. Substitutes designated in writing shall be treated as members
for purposes of this Agreement.

The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, will conduct a public hearing at
9:00 a.m., on July 15, 1998, in the Chambers of the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County
Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, First Floor, Greeley, Colorado, for the purpose of considering
Ordinance#201, In the Matter of Adopting a Coordinated Planning Agreement among the County
of Weld, City of Dacono, Town of Firestone, Town of Frederick, and Town of Erie (referred to as
the South Weld County Area Land Use Plan). Second and third reading of said Ordinance will be
considered on August 3, 1998, and August 24, 1998. All persons in any manner interested are
requested to attend said hearing and may be heard.
Should any interested party desire the presence of a court reporter to make a record of the

The Weld County Planning Commission
will hold a public hearing on Tuesday,June
2, 1998, at 1:30 p.m. for the purpose of
considering an Ordinance to provide specific
design standards to implement
Intergovernmental Agreements between
Weld County, Dacono and Erie and
Intergovernmental Agreement between Weld
County, Frederick, Firestone and Dacono.

TYPE AND INTENSITY OF PROPOSED USE:
Intergovernmental Agreement.
LOCATION:All lands in an area bounded by
State Highway 52 on the North, Weld
County Road 8 on the South and a distance
of one mile from the centerline of 1-25 to the
East and West of 1-25, except for those
parcels of land currently annexed to the
Town of Frederick in an area approximately
6 square miles. Also a land area
approximately 10 square miles west of 1-25,
and 40 square miles east of I-25, boundedby
Weld County Road 8 on the south, and Weld
County Road 26 on the north, and
approximately Weld County Road 119 on the
east. See map for more precise location.
The public hearing will be held in the Weld
County Commissioners' Hearing Room, First
Floor, Weld County Centennial Center, 915
Tenth Street, Greeley, Colorado. Comments
or objections related to the above request

The municipalities of Dacono, Frederick, Erie, Firestone, and the County of Weld will be hosting an open
house on May 12, 1998. The meeting will take place in the Frederick Town Hall.
The open house will start at 4:30 p.m. and continue until 6:30 p.m. Topics for the open house will include
the Regional Erie, Dacono, Frederick, Firestone and Weld County Intergovernmental Agreement, and
regional design standards.
