IN THE MATTER OF REPEALING AND RE-ENACTING ORDINANCE NOS.84-T AND 84-U,THE
SETTING OF FEES FOR SERVICES PROVIDED BY WELD COUNTY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF
WELD, STATE OF COLORADO:
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Weld, State of Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority
of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, has the
authority, under State statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, to establish certain fees
for services provided by the various departments of Weld County Government, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County desires, through this
Ordinance, to set fees and charges for rental of the Board's Chambers, parking fees, recreational
vehicle dumping fees, overnight camping site fees, Clerk to the Board fees, Ambulance Service
fees, fees for the copying of public documents where the fee is not otherwise specified by law, the
sale of Weld County road maps, the taking of fingerprints for individuals by the Sheriffs
Department,extraordinary research of public records which Weld County is not required to perform
by law,the performance of weed spraying services, copying of District Attorney files, planning and
building inspection materials, fees for assignment of leases, copying of ambulance trip sheet
medical records, returned check fees, permits issued by the County Engineer, motor vehicle
identification number inspections, special district filing fees, Communication fees, various record
checks and copies of records by the Sheriffs Office, bond processing fee, mugshot photo fee, co-
pay for medical services to inmates, maps, and Geographical Information System (hereinafter
referred to as GIS) services and products.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Weld, State of Colorado, that Ordinance No. 84-T and 84-U be, and hereby are,
repealed and that the fee schedule for the rental of the Board's Chambers and parking fees set
forth in Exhibit"A", a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, shall
be the fees charged by Weld County for rental and parking services described therein.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Board that the fee schedule for services provided by
the Weld County Ambulance Service set forth in Exhibit"B", a copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference, shall be the fees charged by the Weld County Ambulance
Service for services described therein.

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Board that the fee schedule for the Missile Site Park
for campsite space and recreational vehicle tank dump fees set forth in Exhibit"C", a copy of which
is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference,shall be the fees charged by Weld County
for campsite and recreational vehicle tank dump services described therein.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Board that the fee schedule for services provided by
Weld County for copying of public documents where the fee is not otherwise specified by law, the
sale of Weld County road maps, the taking of fingerprints for individuals by the Sheriffs
Department, extraordinary research of public records which Weld County is not required to perform
by law, the performance of weed spraying services, copying of District Attorney files, planning and
building inspection materials, fees for assignment of leases, copying of ambulance trip sheet
medical records, returned check fees, permits issued by the County Engineer, motor vehicle

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Board that the fee schedule for Clerk to the Board
related services, as set forth in Exhibit "E", a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference, shall be the fees charged by Weld County for services described therein.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Board that the fee schedule for GIS related services
and products, as set forth in Exhibit"F", a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein
by reference, shall be the fees charged by Weld County for services described therein.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Board that this Ordinance shall supersede all prior
ordinances and resolutions concerning fees for the services enumerated in this Ordinance.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Board that the effective date of said fee schedule shall
be January 1, 2000, and such fees shall remain in full force and effect until the Board ordains to
change such fees.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Board, if any section, subsection, paragraph,
sentence, clause, or phrase of this Ordinance is for any reason held or decided to be
unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions hereof. The
Board of County Commissioners hereby declares that itwould have enacted this Ordinance in each
and every section, subsection, paragraph,sentence, clause,and phrase thereof irrespective of the
fact that anyone or more sections, subsections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses, or phrases might
be declared to be unconstitutional or invalid.

COMMERCIAL RENTAL SCHEDULE
BOARD'S CHAMBER ROOM
$ 30.00 per hour
RULES
$50.00 Damage and Cleaning Fee will be applied to rental charges if everything is left in a
satisfactory condition.
A County employee responsible for the building must be present during weekend events. The
employee will be paid $17.50 per hour by sponsoring group prior to the opening of event.
Any County labor provided beyond routine service will be charged on a cost recovery basis
determined by the County.
Recognized Weld County Government groups shall not be charged the above fees for use for
County business.

RATES FOR CLERK TO THE BOARD
TRANSCRIPTS FROM TAPES:
$60.00/hour for time spent on the transcription, plus$2.50 per page. (Provides two certified
copies of transcript to requestor.) Minimum charge of$60.00, with a deposit of three times
the clock time of the tape to be paid in advance, with balance payable prior to receipt of
transcript. Transcripts will be completed as staff time is available. Fee non-refundable. No
deadline will be assured.
COPIES OF TAPES/USE OF RECORDING EQUIPMENT:
$30.00 machine set-up fee plus$10.00/hourfor use of equipment and$14.50/hour for clerk's
salary for time spent copying tapes, pro-rated to half-hour segments, based on estimated
time of hearing; and $5.00 per tape. Estimated cost or minimum charge of $60.00
(whichever is highest) to be paid in advance. No unsupervised use of equipment will be
allowed. Copies of tapes will be completed as staff time is available. No deadlines will be
assured.

Inter-Governmental Agreements will specify "GIS-usable" data exchange with entities, e.g.,
DXF files of subdivisions, annexations and boundaries from municipalities, GPS survey points
and section corners from municipalities and other government agencies.
Contracts with surveyors will specify what contribution of data and/or time will be made by the
surveyor in exchange for fee waivers. The GIS Department will review all contributions
proposed by surveyors in order to assess the quality and/or suitability of the proposed
contributions and to determine if those contributions would substantially improve the quality or
content of Weld County's GIS. If they do not, no fees for digital data will be waived.
Fee waivers apply to digital data products only.
