RE: APPROVE AMENDMENT TO LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICE AGREEMENT AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN - TOWN OF GILCREST
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an Amendment to the Law Enforcement
Service Agreement between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Sheriff, and the Town of
Gilcrest, commencing January 1, 1995, and ending December 31, 1995, with further terms and
conditions being as stated in said amendment, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said amendment, a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Amendment to the Law Enforcement Service Agreement between the
County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, on behalf of the Weld County Sheriff, and the Town of Gilcrest be, and hereby is,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said amendment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 16th day of January, A.D., 1995, nunc pro tunc January 1, 1995.

AMENDMENT TO LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICE AGREEMENT
THIS AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is made and entered into this /6 6. day of
January, 1995, by and between the County of Weld and the Weld County Sheriff, by and through
the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, hereinafter referred to as "County," and
the Town of Gilcrest, hereinafter referred to as the "Town."
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, County and Town entered into a Law Enforcement Service Agreement dated
November 22, 1993, and approved by Resolution by the Board of County Commissioners dated
December 20, 1993, for a term of one year, to renew automatically for successive one year terms,
wherein County agreed to provide law enforcement services for Town during said term(s), and,
WHEREAS, the parties hereto now desire to continue said Law Enforcement Service
Agreement pursuant to the same provisions and conditions as set forth therein with the exception
of the substitution of the attached "Schedule C" for that "Schedule C" which is currently attached
to said Law Enforcement Service Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants contained
herein, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. That the Law Enforcement Service Agreement dated November 22, 1993, and
approved by Resolution by County on December 20, 1993, is hereby amended by substituting the
attached "Schedule C" for the "Schedule C" which is currently attached to said Law Enforcement
Service Agreement.
2. That all of the terms and conditions set forth in said Law Enforcement Service
Agreement shall continue in full force and affect, with the exception of the substitution of
"Schedule C" as set forth in paragraph 1 above.

WHEREFORE, the parties hereto have signed this Amendment to Law Enforcement
Service Agreement on the date first written above.
