Narrative:
On Tuesday,June 9, 1998, Sergeant McEachron contacted Mr. Isom via telephone. Mr. Isom's residence is
located in Weld County between Ft. Lupton and Brighton. Because he has a"303" area code and lists a Ft.
Lupton address, all 9-1-1 calls from his residence are directed to the Ft. Lupton P.D. public safety answering
point(PSAP). Sergeant McEachron has researched and tested Mr. Isom's registration in the master street
addressing guide(MSAG)and confirmed this.
Mr. Isom's residence is situated such that traffic accidents and traffic related activities at or near his home
are the responsibility of the Colorado State Patrol,criminal activities/enforcement/etc. are the jurisdiction of
Weld County S.O., fire response is in the Ft. Lupton Fire Protection District,and ambulance needs will be
dispatched to Weld Co. Ambulance(as primary)or AMR(as a secondary)depending on who is closest and
available.
These response issues were discussed with Mr. Isom. According to Sgt. McEachron, Mr. Isom seemed
satisfied with the follow-up.
*NOTE* The call Mrs. Isom referred to in her correspondence, in which"Highway Patrol"was quick to
respond,was a loud party complaint handled by WCSO,dispatched from the Weld Co. Regional
