Dear Ms. Eastin:
Reference is made to the resubdivision of tract "A" of Arrowhead Subdivision 4th
Filing by Mr. Charles Karowsky, located in the Northwest 'A of Section 27, Township 5
North, Range 66 West, Weld County, Colorado.
If any work associated with this project requires the placement of dredged or fill
material, and any excavation associated with a dredged or fill project, either temporary or
permanent, in streams or wetlands at this location, this office should be contacted by a
proponent of the project for proper Department of the Army permits or changes in permit
requirements pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.

The Weld County Public Works Department has reviewed this proposal; the following requirements are
recommended to be a part of any approval:
COMMENTS:
Arrowhead Subdivision is in rural Weld County. All roads within the subdivision have been paved and are
maintained by the county.
REQUIREMENTS:
Tract A-1, the 5.4-acre lot, will access onto Pawnee Drive. One access will be granted with no circle drives or
additional accesses allowed. A 15-foot frontage and perimeter easement may be required to provide adequate
utilities.
Tract A-2, the 5.2-acre lot, will access onto Kiowa Drive, The applicant will be be granted one access only, no
circle drives. A 15-foot perimeter easement may be required to provide utilities to this lot.
If an access culvert is required, at either location, a 15-inch CMP is the minimum size the county requires. If the
applicant chooses to place a larger culvert for drainage purposes, please contact our office.

I am contacting you with the Greeley Planning Commission's response to the Weld County
Referral dealing with the request for a Minor Resubdivision,case number 5-443 as submitted by
Charles Karowsky.
The Planning Commission reviewed this proposal at the February 10, 1998 meeting. At such
time,the Commission agreed with the planning staff's recommendation to forward a comment of
"no objection"to Weld County. This conclusion was base on the project location being outside
of the Greeley Long Range Expected Growth Area and within the City of Evans Urban Growth
Area.
Please contact me if there are any questions regarding this case and, once again,thank you for the
