UHEREAS, the hereinafter described real estate was disconnected
from the Town of Rosedale by ordinance duly passed and adopted and recorded in
the office of the County Clerk and Recorder of Weld County, Colorado, which real
estate is described as follows, to -wit:
What was formerly known as Blocks Fourteen (14), Fifteen (15),
Eighteen (18) and Nineteen (19), except Lots One (1) through
Six (6), in Block Eighteen (18), Kendricks Addition to the
Town of Rosedale, Weld County, Colorado, before it was dis-
connected from the Town of Rosedale, and which is described
as follows: All that part of Section Seventeen (17), Township
5 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.I'., described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said Section 17, thence
North 0033' West 1225.76 feet, more or less to the inter-
section of the West line of said Section 17, with the South line
of 26th Street in the City of Greeley extended West; thence North
890S7'30" East 1105 feet, more or less to a point where the South
line of 26th Street in the City of Greeley extended East intersects
with the center of 9th Avenue as presently platted; thence South
0001'1O" East 699.80 feet, more or less to a point where the
South line of 27th Street extended East intersects with the
center of 9th Avenue as presently platted; thence South 89057'30"
West 240.5 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Plock 18
as platted in Kendricks Addition to the Town of Rosedale;
thence South 0001'10" East 300 feet to the Southwest corner of
Lot 6 of said Block 18; thence North 89057'30" East 240.5
feet; thence South 0001'10" East 217.33 feet, more or less to
the South line of said Section 17; thence South 89030'25" West
1094.12 feet more or less to the point of beginning,
and,
the attached
WHEREAS,/petition has been presented by all parties owning any
interest in and to said property to the Board of County Commissioners requesting
that the following described streets, avenue and alley be vacated, to -wit:
All of 28th Street
All of 27th Street except the East 2.10.5 feet thereof,
10th Avenue, and
The north -south alley located in Block 15 of the property
described in the preceding paragraph,
and,
WHEREAS, none of said streets, avenue or alley have been opened,
graded or used by the public, and
WHEREAS, it would be for the best interests of petitioners, the
public and Weld County, Colorado, to have the above described streets, avenue and
alley vacated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY CO!•INISSIONERS
OF WELD COUNTY, COLORADO:

10th Avenue, and
The north. -south alley located in Block 15 of the property
described in the .first paragraph of the recitals herein,
be and the same are hereby vacated and closed.

PETITION
TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY C01•'1`ISSIONERS OF WELD COUNTY, COLORADO:
The undersigned, being all of the persons, firms and corporations
who own any interest in and to the streets, avenue and alley hereinafter described,
hereby petition the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, to
vacate the following described streets, avenue and alley as platted in what was
formerly known as Blocks Fourteen (14), Fifteen (15), Eighteen (18) and Nineteen (19),
except Lots One (i) through six (6) in Block Eighteen (18), Kendrick's Addition to
the town of Rosedale, Weld County, Colorado, before it was disconnected from the
Town of Rosedale by Ordinance duly passed and adopted as by law provided and which
is further described as all that part of Section Seventeen (17), Township 5 North,
Range 65 West of the 6th P.I., described as follows: Beginning at the southwest
corner of said Section 17, thence North 0°33' West 1225.76 feet, more or less to the
irtersection of the West line of said Section 17, with the South line of 26th
Street in the City of Greeley extended West; thence North 89°57' 30" East 1105 feet,
more or less to a point where the South line of 26th Street in the City of Greeley
extended East intersects with the center of 9th Avenue as presently platted; thence
South 0°01'10" East 699.80 feet, more or less to a point where the South line of
27th Street extended East intersects with the center of 9th Avenue as presently
platted; thence South 89°57'30" West 240.5 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 1,
Block 18 as platted in Kendricks Addition to the Town of Rosedale; thence South
0°01'10" East 300 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 6 of said Block 18; thence
North 89°57'30" East 240.5 feet; thence South 0°01'10" East 217.33 feet, more or
less to the South line of said Section 17; thence South 89°30'25" West 1094.12 feet
more or less to the point of beginning:
All of 28th Street; all of 27th Street except the East
210.5 feet thereof; 10th Avenue, and the North -South
alley located. in Block 15 of the above described property.
As grounds for this petition, petitioners state that the streets,
avenue and alley above described are not now and never have been used by the public;
that said streets, avenue and alley have never beeh opened or graded; that
petitioners are in the process of annexing the above described property to
the City of Greeley and will probably replat the territory above described;

that it would be for the best interests of the petitioners, the public and of
Weld County, Colorado, to have the above described streets, avenue and alley
vacated.
WHEREFORE, petitioners pray that the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, by resolution vacate the said streets, avenue andalley
as above described.
