TO CANCEL TAX SALE CERTIFICATE
NO. 250:
WHEREAS, the County Treasurer, Charles 0. Bursiel, has requested
authorization to cancel County Certificate No. 250 of the 1950 tax sale for
the 1949 taxes on Coal Reserves only on the SW4 of Section 31, Township 2, Range
67 with the taxes for 1950 to 1964 endorsed thereon, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado
believes it to be in the best interest of the County to cancel said tax sale
certificate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado that the County Treasurer, Charles 0. Bursiel, be and
he is hereby authorized to cancel County tax sale certificate No. 250 of 1950
for the taxes of 1949 on Coal Reserves only on the SW* of Section 31, Township
2, Range 67 with the taxes for 1950 to 1964 endorsed thereon.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote:

Coal Reserves only were assessed on SW1/4: Sec 31 T2 R67
160a in 1949, went to tax sale in 1950 and County Certificate( #259
was issued for 1949 taxes. Subsequent taxes were endorsed for the
years 1950 to 1964 inclusive on this certificate.
F. H. Canis, State Mining Engineer who makes Coal assessments
for the County Assessor reported February 15, 1965 "Coal unassessable
and cancellation of this tax sale certificate recommended." Coal
Company has relinquished all mineral rights on this description.
I therefor request resolution authorizing County Treasurer to
cancel County Certificate No. 25a of 1950 for the 1949 taxes on
Coal Reserves only on SW1/4: Sec 31 T2 R67 with the taxes for 1950
to 1964 endorsed thereon.
