By findings of October 10, and 11, 1995, the State Board of Equalization
(state board) issued Orders of Reappraisal affecting Rio Grande, Custer,
Delta, and Teller counties. The state board further ordered the assessors to
work with the Division of Property Taxation to develop a plan for reappraisal
and supervision required, and to present the county plan to the state board at
an open meeting on Wednesday, November 8, 1995.
The state board will reconvene on Wednesday, November 8, 1995 at 2:00 p.m., in
the Legislative Services Building, Hearing Room A, 200 E. 14th Avenue, Denver,
Colorado. The state board invites the county commissioners or their
representatives to appear and discuss the county plans.
The state board also postponed making a decision on the Elbert County
recommendation until the auditor had time to confirm new data presented.

Review the auditor's recommendation that a reappraisal order

The state board will announce the reappointment of the Property Tax
Administrator, Mary E. Huddleston.
