RE: APPROVE RECOMMENDATION OF APPOINTMENTS TO JUVENILE SERVICES
PLANNING COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 19-2-1602.7 of House Bill 93-134 and by Resolution
dated July 7, 1993, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, together
with the Chief Judge of the Judicial District, agreed to create the Local Juvenile Services
Planning Committee, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Sheryl Largent be appointed to said
committee to replace Nomie Ketterling; Jeri Shepherd to replace Frank Henderson, Nancy Kroll
to replace Lee Steele, Din Tuttle to replace Ellen Tommey; Bill Wendt to replace John Wilde;
and Lieutenant Juan Cruz be appointed to said committee as an additional member, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to recommend to the Chief Judge of the
Nineteenth Judicial District that Sheryl Largent be appointed to said committee to replace
Nomie Ketterling as private citizen representative; Jeri Shepherd to replace Frank Henderson
as Public Defender representative, Nancy Kroll to replace Lee Steele as Probation Department
representative; Din Tuttle to replace Ellen Toomey as Juvenile magistrate; Bill Wendt to replace
John Wilde as Island Grove Regional Treatment Center representative; and Lieutenant Juan
Cruz be appointed to said committee as an additional member.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Sheryl Largent, Jeri Shepherd, Nancy Kroll, Din Tuttle, Bill Wendt,
and Lieutenant Juan Cruz, be, and hereby are, recommended to the Chief Judge of the Judicial
District for appointments to the Local Juvenile Services Planning Committee.

APPOINTMENT TO LOCAL JUVENILE SERVICES PLANNING COMMITTEE
Pursuant to CRS 19-2-1602.7, and upon the recommendations of the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
IT IS ORDERED:
The following individuals are appointed to the Juvenile Services Planning
Committee for the Nineteenth Judicial District.
Sheryl Largent be appointed to replace Nomie Ketterling as private citizen
representative.
Jeri Shepherd be appointed to replace Frank Henderson as Public Defender
representative.
Nancy Kroll be appointed to replace Lee Steele as Probation Department
representative.
Din Tuttle be appointed to replace Ellen Toomey as Juvenile Magistrate
representative.
Bill Wendt be appointed to replace John Wilde as Island Grove Regional
