PRESS RELEASE
March 19, 1995
In accordance with the Weld County Home Rule Charter, the Weld County
Council will hold its next regular meeting Wednesday, April 5, 1995, at 7:30 p.m.,
at Prairie School, 42315 WCR 133, New Raymer, CO. County Treasurer Art
Willis will be at the meeting. He will speak briefly about the taxes received by
Prairie School and other taxing districts. Included will be: billing the tax payer,
receiving the tax payments at the Treasurer's office, investing tax money until it is
needed, and the timing of distributing taxes to the taxing districts.
The public is invited to attend the Council meeting and provide in put on
any issues that they may have pertaining to County government. Please call the
Council office at 356-400 ext. 4780 if more information is needed.
The Council will have supper at Pawnee Station Restaurant in New
Raymer prior to the meeting.
