My complaint being a mobile home moved onto the property at 2690 Mathews Avenue. It also appears there is more than one family residing in this single family dwelling. I believe both are covenant and zoning violations for our area. Also, I am filing a complaint on any property from Mathews Avenue to Tate Avenue. This would be between Road 8 and Road 6 for derelict vehicles that are inoperable. Several properties within these two blocks have more than one derelict vehicle (i.e., either in front of, on the side of or behind the home). I do not feel as though I need to provide addresses for each specific home. The violations are clearly visible. All someone from your office needs to do, is access these properties and do a physical inspection. I am quite certain you will not only find the vehicle violations but I am positive you will find various other violations (i.e., an unfinished exterior of a specific home on Mathews Avenue). This home has been in this state for the last six (6) years. I am sure you are aware of the home I am referring to because your office should have issued and extended permits. It is very frustrating, discouraging plus embarrassing this has been allowed to continue this way for so long. Deterioration in this fashion,with no violation or any attempt to rectify the appearances of these homes, will only deflate values. Unless and without your help enforcing the zoning regulations, our property value will not rise. It has gone on long enough and we (my husband and I) are extremely tired of the eye sores! I would greatly appreciate a report as to the findings along with the action in which the county intends to take to correct this situation.
