RE: SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND FINAL PLAT FOR A FIVE (5) LOT MINOR
SUBDIVISION - HILLCREST ESTATES SUBDIVISION -THOMAS AND LINDA FRANCIS
A public hearing was conducted on April 15, 1998, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert, Chair
Commissioner W. H. Webster, Pro-Tem
Commissioner George E. Baxter
Commissioner Dale K. Hall
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick
Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
Planning Department representative, Todd Hodges
Health Department representative, Sheble McConnellogue
Public Works representative, Don Carroll
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated March 25, 1998, and duly published April 1, 1998,
in the Platteville Herald, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Thomas and
Linda Francis for a Site Specific Development Plan and Final Plat for a five (5) lot Minor
Subdivision. Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Todd
Hodges, Department of Planning Services representative, presented a brief summary of the
proposal and entered the favorable recommendation of the Planning Commission into the record
as written. Mr. Hodges explained Lots 1 through 3 will have access from a cul-de-sac on Hillcrest
Drive; Lot 4 will have an individual access from Hillcrest Drive; and Lot 5 will access Weld County
Road 66 through an existing access easement. He stated the subdivision covenants and road
improvements agreement will be discussed at a later date.
Thomas Francis, applicant, was present to answer questions from the Board. No public testimony
was offered concerning this matter.
Commissioner Hall moved to approve the request of Thomas and Linda Francis for a Site Specific
Development Plan and Final Plat for a five (5) lot Minor Subdivision, based on the
recommendations of the Planning staff and the Planning Commission, with the Conditions of
Approval and Development Standards as entered into the record. The motion was seconded by
Commissioner Baxter, and it carried unanimously.
