RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP FOR TAVERN
LIQUOR LICENSE FROM EL CHUBASCO, LLC, DBA EL CHUBASCO, TO
J. MONTES, INC., DBA EL RODEO NIGHT CLUB
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an application for a Change of
Ownership for a Tavern Liquor License from El Chubasco, LLC, dba El Chubasco, to J. Montes,
Inc., dba El Rodeo Night Club, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 11th day of September, 1996,
at which time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter one week to
September 18, 1996, at 9:00 a.m., and
WHEREAS, on September 18, 1996, the Board was presented with a letter from
Daniel W. Carr, Attorney representing J. Montes, Inc., requesting said matter be tabled
indefinitely to allow further time to resolve the issue regarding possession of the premises.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, tabled indefinitely.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 18th day of September, A.D., 1996.
