RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE ON CAMPO ROAD AT
54TH STREET ROAD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Department of Public Works has recommended to the
Board that a "Stop" sign be installed on Campo Road at 54th Street Road, to ensure safety to
the traveling public, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that said traffic control device is necessary for
the protection of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Department of Public Works be, and hereby is, directed to
install a "Stop" sign on Campo Road at 54th Street Road, for the safety of the general public,
and said sign shall conform to the State Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 20th day of April, A.D., 1998.

SUBJECT: Approval for Traffic Control Device Installation
Please place the following items on the Board's next agenda:
1. Approval for"Stop" sign installation at the intersection of Campo Road and 54th St.
Road.
2. Approval for a"Stop" sign installation on the southeast corner of the intersection
of WCR 35 and WCR 12 due to construction of the Buffalo Ridge Subdivision.
3. Approval for a"No Parking" sign to be installed on WCR 3.5 north of St. Hwy. 119 on
the west side.
The appropriate documentation is attached.
