Per the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Section 2B-5, a stop sign is warranted. The warrants are: 1. Intersection of a less important road with a main road where application of the normal right-of- way rule is unduly hazardous. Sight distance is restricted from two directions. 2. Street entering a through highway or street. 3. Unsignalized intersection in a signalized area. 4. Other intersections where a combination of high speed, restricted view, and serious accident record indicates a need for control by a stop sign. The intersection of WCR 6 and WCR 65 meets warrants numbers one and four. (Please see the attached diagram). Current traffic volumes dictate the need to stop traffic on WCR 6 at WCR 65.
